Beneteau First 40.7 Charter Policy

Since its inaugural launch in Shenzhen back in 2007, the China Cup International Regatta has been a beacon of tradition and excellence, marking its 15th anniversary. The prestigious 16th edition of the China Cup International Regatta is set to take place from October 31st to November 4th, 2024, at the scenic Daya Bay in Dapeng, Shenzhen, China. As an event listed in the World Sailing calendar, China Cup International Regatta has earned its reputation not just across Asia, but also within the broader international sailing community. The China Cup International Regatta serves as a dynamic arena for sail racing as well as a vibrant hub for cultural exchange, we extend a heartfelt invitation to distinguished sailors from all over the world to participate in China Cup. Let us forge ahead to author a new chapter in the annals of sailing, thereby enriching the development of the sport of sailing worldwide.

In order to meet diverse needs of our global sailing community, for Beneteau 40.7 One Design Class in China Cup International Regatta, we are now offering the following options for entry:

1. Pay Charter

A. Charter Fee for a Beneteau First 40.7: 50,000RMB.

B. Security Deposit: 20,000RMB. (This amount will be refunded upon the boat's return, provided there is no damage)

2. Charter-Free 

To showcase exceptional competitive skills and co-create an unforgettable sailing feast, allowing every participant and spectator to experience the charm and passion of the sailing sport.

To be eligible for Charter Free, at least one sailor in one team should satisfy one or more of the following criteria, they can enjoy charter-free privileges with providing relevant supporting documents:

A. Sailing teams include crew who have won gold, silver, or bronze medals in the last two Olympic Games  

B. The participating teams include key crew members from the top three teams in the most recent Olympic Games/World Sailing Olympic Class World Championships/World Sailing Championships at various levels/European Championships/competitions organized by the European Sailing Federation.

C. The participating teams feature key crew members who have achieved outstanding results in the most recent Olympic Games/ the World Sailing Olympic Class World Championships/Individual World Sailing Championships across various classes/the European Championships/ competitions organized by the European Sailing Federation.

D. The participating teams include key crew members from the most recent America's Cup and the Ocean Race.

Additionally, the following requirement must be met:

E. Sponsorship: The boat may feature sponsorship advertisements required by 16th China Cup International Regatta Organizing Committee.

Extra Benefits: Teams that have qualified for this events are encouraged to recommend other qualified teams to successfully join in(crew members include medalists in the last two Olympic Games, or top 3 teams in the most recent World Sailing Championships or European Championships, etc., please refer to the four criteria outlined as A.B.C.D. in 2. Charter-Free for specific details). As a token of our gratitude for your support, we will reward the recommending team with an exclusive gift—a complimentary accommodation for 1 room at the Man Wan Harmona Resort for the duration of the event（a total of 5 nights). The address is No.1 Xin Da Road, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen. (Should there be any special circumstances on the day at the hotel, we will provide a equivalent room.)
